10 WAYS TO STAY MOTIVATED WHEN THE SCALE IS BRINGING YOU DOWN

There's something so bittersweet about the last day of a Lifestyle Shift Group.  Obviously, when one door closes, another opens (our March Towards Your Goals group begins tomorrow!!!); however, amongst the amazing transformation photos and praise, I always inevitably hear from someone that the scale didn't move as much as they would've liked it to...
Without fail, I shake my head, take a deep breath and remind them - but you lost 10+ inches, your pants are fitting more loose, and your transformation photos look incredible!  To which they reply, "I just thought I would lose more weight."

I know this may sound contradictory to everything you've been told in the past, but
STAY OFF THE SCALE!! 

Do not allow a number on a scale to determine how you feel about yourself and set the tone for the day or week ahead!

Here are **10 questions to ask yourself to determine your progress:
  1. How do your clothes fit?
  2. Are you stronger?
  3. Do you have more energy?
  4. Are your cravings gone?
  5. Are you sleeping better?
  6. How does your skin look?
  7. Has your mindset changed?
  8. Can you see definition in your muscles?
  9. Have your relationships improved?
  10. Are you able to come off medications that you needed to be on before of a poor diet or lack of exercise?
Typically, my challengers and I are able to talk through this together and we all feel much better by the end, but please know that YOU are so much MORE than a number on a scale! <3
