* 24 brussels sprouts, trimmed and quartered lengthwise
* 4 bacon slices diced
* freshly ground pepper
* 12 lg. sea scallops
Add the brussel sprouts to large sauté pan and cook until almost tender.remove from pan .
Add the bacon, stirring occasionally, until crisp.
Transfer to paper towels to drain.
Pour off all but 1 tsp. of the rendered fat from the pan.
Pat the scallops dry with paper towels then salt and pepper and paprika - broil for 3 minutes then turn and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes transfer scallops to sauté pan.
Return the fry pan to medium-high heat.
Add the brussel sprouts and sauté .
Season with the salt and pepper.
Cook for another minute or 2 scraping sides of pan .
Divide the brussel sprouts, bacon and scallops among 4 bowls and drizzle with the pan juices.
